The present day Kairali Ayurvedic Group was founded in 1989 and is an outcome of
its predecessor’s efforts that started before 1948. It was dedicated efforts of
Late. Dr. Sankunny Vaidyar (Grand Father of Mr. K.V. Ramesh) and Late Dr. K.S. Vasudevan
(Father of Mr. K.V. Ramesh) that paved the way for the present status of Kairali.
At present Kairali Ayurvedic Group is headed by Joint Managing Directors Mrs. Gita
Ramesh and Mr. K.V. Ramesh. The eldest in the next generation of the Kairali Ayurvedic
Group, Mr. Abhilash K.R. is a director on Kairali’s board. After completing his
formal education at Florida International University, he returned to India to gain
an extensive knowledge of the nature and operations of the business. He has helped
put the Kairali Ayurvedic Group in the upper echelons of the Indian Ayurveda industry.
He currently heads the sales and marketing division of the group.
The youngest in the family and a fellow member of the board of directors, Mr. Abishek
K.R. completed his education at the New York Institute of Technology. With great
achievements in expanding Kairali’s pharmaceutical brands and strengthening its
core businesses, Mr. Abishek has firmly established himself within the team.
Four generations of Ayurveda expertise has given Kairali an added advantage and
a strong standing in India's health industry. The Kairali Group continues to grow
in the form of number of resorts and Ayurvedic centres which have been established
in various locations in India and abroad. Kairali’s ayurvedic based products and
equipments have steadily gained popularity throughout the world. For Kairali the
journey towards greater excellence in the service of health and humanity has just
begun. The continuous endeavour to spread the great and immortal science of Ayurveda
will go on.
